How we measure — and what we're learning

We'd rather publish our method than a marketing claim. Here's how the numbers are produced, and the honest state of what we can say from real data today.

Method, in the open

The score is a formula you can check

Most tools hide how a number is produced. We publish the full AI Visibility Score formula and what each input means — because a number you can't check isn't insight.

  • Every metric traces back to the stored AI answer it came from
  • Sentiment is read only from sentences that name your brand, and the method (keyword-based) is disclosed
  • Competitor sub-metrics we can't measure are labelled as estimates, not passed off as measured
  • Demo data is always flagged as demo — never presented as a real result

What we're publishing next

Findings, when they're real

Aggregate research — how visibility differs across engines, which source types earn the most citations, how answers drift over time — is only worth publishing once it's drawn from enough real runs to mean something. We won't pad this page with a chart that looks authoritative and isn't. When we have findings we can stand behind, they'll appear here and on the blog.

Run the method on your own brand.
