Deleting your data
Two things can erase a Brand Climb account: you asking, and the retention window expiring. Both run the same deletion, and this page describes what it actually does.
When you ask
Open Settings → Preferences → Delete account, type your account email to confirm, and the account is removed immediately. There is no waiting period and no recovery: the confirmation exists because the action cannot be taken back, not because we hold the data for a while first.
If you would rather ask a person, write to team@brandclimbai.com from the address on the account.
When the window expires
If a subscription is cancelled and not resumed, the account is erased 30 days later. The sweep runs once a day. Nothing is deleted while a subscription is active, and a cancelled account keeps its history for that whole window — locking someone out of their own work the moment they stop paying is how you make sure they never come back.
What is erased
Everything attached to the account: your projects, every monitoring run and the AI answers stored with it, your prompts, competitors, reports, saved actions, workspace membership, connected integrations and their stored credentials, and the sign-in itself. It is one database operation — the account row is removed and every table that references it is removed with it, so nothing can be missed by being forgotten in a list.
What deliberately survives
Two things, and we would rather say so than let you discover them:
The audit-log entry recording that the deletion happened
It names the date and the account id, and nothing else about you. A deletion log that deletes itself is not a log, and it is the only way either of us can later show the erasure was carried out.
Any free report you ran
A free report is keyed to a website, not to a person: it holds the questions asked of the AI engines and the answers they gave about a public domain. It contains no account, no email and no personal data, and the same report is what makes a shared link work for whoever you sent it to.
Backups
Deletion removes the data from the live database at once. Copies inside our hosting provider's routine backups age out on that provider's own cycle; they are not readable by the application and are never used to restore an individual account.
